okay this just really messed me up but… do you know what this means?

 there’s a version of dirk, that killed himself, literally committed suicide in an attempt to to save his friends, and never woke up. like he woke up in the afterlife, and for all he knows, jane is still dead and roxy is probably going to die from red miles, and jake is gonna die because he couldn’t enter the medium in time, and knowing dirk, he thinks it’s all his fault, it was *his* plan that failed, *his* auto responder that couldn’t convince jake, *his* actions that caused the only 3 people he has ever talked to and cared about to die.
